One of the greatest parts of being a photographer is the long-term relationships I get to build with families. When a client returns year after year, it's about more than just the session to me - it's about being a part of all of these stories - mine and theirs.

Tonight I was invited to take pre-prom photos and I couldn't have been happier to see this teen, who I've photographed for many years, looking so grown and beautiful for her special evening.

Time is flying faster than I'd like, but at least there are plenty of sparkly dresses to help us make our way through! ✨✨

I love working with new families, photographing extended families - all those sweet grandparent photos - and of course, capturing all the love between them.

We took a stroll at Dow's Lake to see the tulips yesterday morning and it was so beautiful. We do this same outing every year and I think this year I've found my very favouite tulip to date (the first image). Each year they seem to get more striking, with more colour and variations in each petal. 😍
