HELLO, SEPTEMBER!

And just like that… we’ve entered my favourite time of year — the “BER” months!

September 1st marks the beginning of one of my busiest and most exciting season here at Lona’s Lenz Photography. Fall colours, cozy sessions, golden light, Halloween magic, and all those beautiful little moments that make this time of year so special.

And this year, there’s an extra bit of excitement…

I’ll be heading off to Salem, Massachusetts later this month and into early October for a little spooky-season adventure of my own!

Because of my travel schedule, my availability for fall and Halloween sessions will be limited.

Fall & Halloween sessions will be available:
- Before I leave for Salem
- And again beginning the week of October 5th when I return

A Final Chapter Before Five 🤍

A little sneak peek from this beautiful beach maternity session.

With their third little one on the way, this beautiful family wanted to pause and capture these final days as a family of four — before welcoming the newest little love who will make their family complete.

There is something so incredibly special about photographing this season of life. The anticipation, the excitement, the little hands and growing belly, and the love that already surrounds a baby who hasn’t yet arrived.

The beach provided the perfect setting for these moments — soft, natural and timeless. 🤍

Some photographs are about more than simply capturing a beautiful image — they’re about celebrating a love story that has stood the test of time.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple, who, despite all the years they’ve shared together, had never had a photoshoot with just the two of them. Needless to say, this session was long overdue. 🤍

It was truly amazing to witness and capture their enduring love, connection and the little moments between them. There is something incredibly special about photographing couples who have built a life together — the laughter, the comfort, the genuine affection and the quiet familiarity that only comes with years of loving one another.

I absolutely love couples sessions, and beach sessions are especially beautiful. There’s something about the soft light, the shoreline and the openness of the setting that allows couples to simply slow down, connect and enjoy being together.

Some sessions are extra special because they capture a moment that changes everything.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful family at Laura’s Farm Stand for a very special pregnancy reveal — and the golden fields of sunflowers couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for such a beautiful announcement.

Surrounded by sunshine, warmth and so much love, this growing family got to celebrate the beginning of an incredible new chapter. These photographs will forever hold the excitement of this moment — the anticipation of a little one who is already so deeply loved.

There is something so beautiful about documenting motherhood and all of the little milestones along the way. From the moment you find out you’re expecting, to maternity portraits, and eventually welcoming your little one earthside, these are the memories that deserve to be preserved beautifully.

I’ve been so busy behind the camera lately that my social media has definitely fallen a little behind! I have so many beautiful sessions and exciting updates to share, and I’m finally starting to catch up.

Today, I’m sharing a few images from a beautiful newborn session I had the honour of capturing in studio earlier this month. 🤍

This sweet little one is the third son in this beautiful family — and what a special addition he is. There is something so timeless about a simple white backdrop and the pure, quiet beauty of a newborn. The result is clean, elegant and classic, allowing the connection between this family and their newest little love to be the focus.

These are the moments that become treasured memories for years to come. 🤍

Forest sessions will be available on various dates throughout September until September 16. I’ll then be away and will begin booking forest minis again the week of October 5.

EXTENDED FAMILY FALL SESSIONS

Want to get the whole family together? I’m also offering extended family sessions for up to 12 people for $349 at my fall forest locations. 20 professionally edited images.

Larger families are absolutely welcome! A small additional fee will apply for groups over 12 people.
