I’ve been a little absent from social media lately.

Not because I haven’t been creating. Not because I don’t have photos to share.

Honestly? Social media can feel really damn daunting.

Somewhere along the way, I started feeling like I had to be someone I’m not to stay relevant. I found myself second-guessing every post, wondering if it would connect with potential clients, current clients, or the algorithm.

The funny thing is, what I love most about photography is creating. I love experimenting with editing styles. I love chasing light. I love making images that evoke a feeling.

But then I get stuck in my own head, worrying that everything has to be cohesive, perfectly curated, and fit neatly into a box.

So I’m done with that.

I’m taking social media back for me.

I’m sharing the images I love. The edits that inspire me. The moments that feel like art to me. Because photography isn’t one thing, and neither am I.

Some sessions just feel like home. 🤍

We incorporated one of their favourite little rituals into this newborn session — front porch sitting with their coffees while soaking in every second with their little man, Brody.

No rushing. No perfectly posed moments. Just two moms completely head over heels in love with their baby boy and embracing this new season together.

These are the moments I know they’ll look back on years from now and remember exactly how it felt. The quiet mornings, the sleepy cuddles, the coffee going cold because baby snuggles came first. 🥹

A wedding ceremony is never just the vows.
It’s the shaky hands holding the paper. The tears you try to laugh through. The way your people lean in closer. The deep breath before “I do.” The kiss that makes the whole room disappear for a second.

J & D’s ceremony at 100 Acre Wood in Prince Edward County had every single facet that makes a wedding day unforgettable. Emotional, intimate, joyful, quiet, loud, intentional… and beautifully them. 🤍

From reading personal vows through tears, to the softest in-between glances, to walking back down the aisle married with the biggest smiles — this is exactly why I love documenting ceremonies the way they actually felt. Not just what they looked like.

Watching these two step into this next chapter together just hits different 🤍

The way he looks at her… the way she already holds that little bump with so much love… you can just feel how ready they are for this baby 🥹

There’s something so special about documenting this in-between season—right before life changes forever (in the best way).

And selfishly… I already cannot WAIT to meet their babe at their newborn session 😭✨ like excuse me, I know that baby is going to be the cutest human ever.

From belly laughs on the beach to tiny newborn snuggles… I get to tell the whole story and that will never not be the coolest part of what I do
