I think it was 4 to 5 years ago that I got a photo of the Snowbirds with the Spirit Catcher. Well… today, I just so happened to be riding by the Enchanted Sea Serpent during the Snowbirds’ practice run.

I'm not sure if I prefer shooting the Barrie fountain at sunrise, of mid-afternoon. Recently, I've been riding my bike along Kempenfelt Bay just as the sun starts to create a rainbow effect in the fountain's spray. Yesterday was spectacular. A full double arc. How could I NOT stop to capture the image? (I stopped)

The new studio that Tim J Norton from DiffRhytm and I are putting together is starting to take shape.

The lights are in. The motorized backdrop is working. The geometric panels are almost complete and we're just about ready to roll. Once we have the cameras and mics in place, and the computers and monitors doing their thing, we'll be live streaming at 1080p and hopefully 4K.

The back wall will be fully panelled, with a console table and shelving to place some decorations, etc. There will be a sit/stand desk, a fireplace chat set. a desk interview set and more.

We'll have a multi-camera, multi-vignette studio with separate control room, isolation booth and so much more.

We're so excited and we just can't hide it!!

I took Mom down to AlteX Academy's flight field with my Mom... Terry McIntosh... today, so she could see me fly my drone. What I didn't tell her is that she was going to fly. She had the biggest smile ever! At 93 years old, she is the oldest person ever to fly a drone there. Thanks to Yifei, Alex and Ed for being so welcoming to Mom. You folks rock!

For anyone playing Wordle type game..: which are your favourites?

I play Wordle , Quordle and Octordle

By far, the most challenging, and my favourite, is Octordle Daily Rescue. The 4 turns are already played by the game and you have 9 more turns to guess the remaining 8 words.

Therefore, you get one extra turn. Often I will use up this extra turn to add common letters if I can’t guess enough words.

Many times, the clues lead to multiple answers or are too cryptic. I probably win 50% of the time (maybe more now that I’ve played it daily for a while)

Then there was today. I decided to just start solving without starting with a clue word, ending up solving 8 words in 8 turns.

It was a good start to my day.

I had a WORDLE streak of 82 before I lost and am about 50 now. It’s a good set of words.
