“A feather doesn’t change the wind, it simply reminds us to notice it.”
My friend Trish Friis was the first to tell me the story behind finding feathers along the way.
Some believe it’s a reminder that someone is watching over you. Maybe they’re right. Maybe they’re simply moments that make us pause long enough to remember the people who’ve shaped us. Either way, I tend to notice feathers more frequently now and sometimes the timing couldn’t be more fitting.
Sitting quietly beneath those mountains, watching the breeze catch the feather in her hat, it was a moment worthy of a pause.
What catches your eye here? What are your thoughts on finding feathers? Who knows this cool cowgirl?
