My FAVOURITE type of session to photograph is in-home lifestyle newborn sessions! I like the challenge of never seeing your space before and working on the fly. I always bring wraps and a crate or bassinet to get some 'posed' shots of just the baby. I always tell people, "don't stress about cleaning!!!" We walk around together and choose where we will shoot and move things if we have to. I really want the experience to be stress free and comfortable for you! I love being able to do these shoots. I love babies!

I haven't been on here much over the past few months and have only been accepting a few sessions here and there. As we head into fall I want to let everyone know that I'm not taking any sessions. I had two this weekend and I have xmas minis on November 4th but that's it. For a while now I've been reflecting on how many times over the years I've missed out on hang outs with my hubby, taking my kids out for the day, impromptu neighbour pizza nights, friends gatherings, etc. while trying to work full-time and also fit in photography sessions. I never used to mind cutting visits short so that I could head to a shoot, sometimes booking for every weekend night! But instead I've been taking golf lessons, trying to work out more, read, trying to sleep better, have social time with my besties and actually take my kids to fall fairs and most importantly- relax on my weekends. It feels weird to say, but if you've read it this far, Thank you!

Looking at these photos makes me feel so lucky because I have two daughters and I will totally make them do photoshoots with me well into adulthood! I just love these photos and these ladies were such a blast to shoot!
