6 years ago today I shot my very first wedding. It sparked a journey that has been so magical and fulfilling.

I have made so many friends and have met the most wonderful people over the years; couples, their families, friends, and, of course, vendors.

Life is changing once again. And while I am not leaving the wedding world entirely, semi-retirement is on the horizon. More details on that later.

For now, I reflect in awe of these past 6 years. It has been incredible, powerful, and life-changing. 🤍✨️📷

Machu Picchu has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. The advice was to book well in advance to secure the right ticket and circuit. I remember the day I booked this excursion. It was last February, and I was sitting at a high top at the . I decided to treat myself to the Vista-Dome experience, and at the moment I booked, I got this immediate, looming thought: Girl, it's going to rain. I kid you not... the one and only day it rained was the day of my tour. Hilarious tbh, so I did my best to enjoy the experience. My luck won out, and as soon as we reached the top of the viewing area, the rain stopped and the clouds dispersed long enough to soak in one of the most profound scenery I've ever seen. It was absolutely worth getting drenched. Eventually, the clouds broke, and the sun made its effort to shine through. By the end of day, the sky was clear. I felt so incredibly privileged that despite the morning's rain and gloomy weather, nature still gifted me a beautiful and unforgettable experience. It served as a reminder to embrace nature as she comes and enjoy the moments along the way. Thank you, Peru. I will see you again.

If you've been following my story, you know that in addition to being an awesome wedding photographer, I'm also the Executive Director of the Quinte Museum of Natural History. Balancing both passions means it is crucial that I be super intentional about my schedule to ensure I can be fully present for my couples.

It has come to my attention that y'all have been interested in 2026 bookings. (Feeling absolutely flattered, btw) So, with all this in mind, I'll be opening my books for 2026 weddings in March 2025. To give each couple the attention and energy they deserve, I'll be accepting only 4 wedding commissions for the entire year. That's right. ONLY 4. If you're looking for a photographer with a unique, artistic style and a storytelling approach that captures the real magic of your day, I'd love to connect!
