I have the pleasure of welcoming Academy students into the studio several times a year. During these visits, we tour the studio, talk through photo session best practices, and focus on how to prepare for professional shoots, with a strong emphasis on commercial work. ⁠

Each student also has their headshot created using a consistent approach, so they leave with clean, agency-ready images that fit seamlessly into their NEW portfolios.⁠

Case Study: Sheridan Jennings

Sheridan first came to the studio in 2022 for professional headshots for her role at Global Payments.

She recently returned for a Headshot session to refresh her image this time, something softer and more community-facing for her work with Habitat for Humanity.

Case Study: Natalie Samfiru — Opera Soprano, Western University

Natalie came to the studio for new professional headshots that would represent both her artistry and her ambition. As an opera student at Western, she needed images suitable for playbills and professional applications that still reflected her distinctive, creative style.

We designed a set that balanced artistry and tradition using a hand-painted Oliphant backdrop and classic lighting.

The final series includes three looks: one strong and refined, one warm and inviting, and one that simply celebrates Natalie’s personality.
