Spring is coming & so are the tulip minis! I’ll be holding one day of minis at the beautiful greenhouse this year during tulip season, my absolute favourite time of year at the greenhouse 😍

These sessions will be $150. A $50 nonrefundable retainer is required at the time of booking with the remainder due the day of the session. Spots are limited as I’m lessening my load a bit this year, so please only book a slot if you’re for sure able to make it ❤️

Some sessions hit a little harder than others, & this was definitely one I will think of often. This beautiful family had to say goodbye to their sweet Natalie far too soon. Courtney, Natalie’s mom, wrote a book about one of Natalie’s favourite places to visit, Oaklawn Farm Zoo. Her parents have set up the Natalie Hazel Harnish Spirit Award at her former cheer club, in which a portion of the proceeds from this book will be put towards. 💜💜💜

Hey everyone 🥰

Firstly, happy family day!!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted myself on here, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself for those who don’t know me yet! My name is Kayla & I’ve been capturing special moments for so many people for a couple of years now. I’ve lived in the Annapolis Valley my whole life, & am now raising my own little fam here. I have the world’s most amazing husband, 3 wild kiddos plus our goldendoodle. Aside from photography I spend the majority of my time with my family & at work as an early childhood educator.

For those who have followed my photography journey thus far, I just wanted to say such a huge thank you for all of the support in building this little community. Over the last few years it’s been hard to find a good balance between work, photography, family, & everything else in life. There are so many amazing photographers that it can sometimes feel intimidating to establish your name & keep up with the industry. This being said, I’ve committed myself to being much more intentional about how much I take on with photography. My page may not have consistent posts, & I won’t always be able to squeeze in last minute requests. This year I’m working really hard to prioritize quality over quantity in all aspects of my life.

Happy 2026!!

I’ve been taking some much needed family time lately, & I hope everyone has been able to do the same. The holidays are such a busy season it can be hard to remember to slow down & truly enjoy it.
