My favourite part about traveling is finding the small towns. The towns off the beaten path. The towns that are usually just only the map. Sayulita isn’t neessarily one of those ones, but is small, dainty and has such a unique character to it. From surf vibes to a hot spot for foodies. It was a fabulous place to walk around its uneven streets lined with golf carts and ATVs.

I can’t believe it has been 1 year since we returned home from such an amazing trip to the stunning and kind country of Portugal. I miss the sunrise and sunsets. I miss the beaches. I miss the people. I miss the history. I miss pastel de natas, fresh out of the oven. I miss Portuguese steaks. I miss beautiful churches. I miss it all 😢

2026 will be the year where my resolutions, also mean positive affirmations. Here are 12 months of resolutions and affirmations to get your through the year. I hope 2026 can be a year of growth, acceptance, positive change for yourself.

My biggest resolution is to accept myself more. Accept my self with compassion and grace. Accept those around me more without condemnation.

I could watch wildlife all day, and we did for a couple hours get the opportunity to watch a fairly large herd of elk outside of Jasper a couple weeks ago. This guy was the largest bull we could see in the herd.
