This is a photo just recently found . A transparency also known as a slide except this would not be able to be projected from your household projector. Probably George james, Just before the fire of 67. Back then the downtown was a hub of everything you needed ,
Now only a handful of retail replaced by services .

This 1923 photo has never been released until now. It is in the barber shop on talbot across frrom the post office which still stands. Interestingly enough the building has been acquired by the owners of the Blackcomb barbershop and shave parlor. The barber is the Grandfather of robert and Dorothy Bolus, father of Charles Bolus of the bolus meat market and abattoir which was in business until the mid 80's. The person on the right sitting on the bench was told to me directly by Robert Bolus to be none other than the well known mover and shaker of the time, T,C, Warwick. He told me who the boy on the bench was as well, and the customer in the chair but that info is now lost. I was not given permission to release this photo until Robert and Dorothy passed.
