I hope everyone had a great long weekend!

A kind reminder to all past clients: As I am taking a break from photography in 2024, I am discontinuing my Pixieset subscription in January, so please make sure you have downloaded your album(s) before then. Please ensure that they’re downloaded to a hard drive and not your cellphone, as a cellphone compresses images, and the printing quality won’t be the same. If your gallery is inactive, let me know, and I’ll activate it for you.

This year has been challenging for me and my family as I transition back into dietetics. This year, I often had to sacrifice time with my family to do sessions in the evenings and edit, so after much prayer, I decided I wouldn't be taking any new bookings for 2024. My littles still need me a lot, and I want to savour every moment with them and my husband. Plus, I'm tired! A little rest and relaxation over weekends sounds amazing! ;) I will miss photography and all my wonderful clients, but I have peace that this is the right decision for my family. I don't think this is the end for CFP, but a break would be good. :)

I recently read a statistic that when your child reaches 18 years, you have spent 90% of the time you'll ever spend with them. It yanked my heart right out! Because, sometimes, I am guilty of wishing they are just a little older so that life can be easier. And I should be kinder to myself and not feel so guilty about that. But that statistic really hit me hard and reminded me to slow down. Take it all in and live in the moment.

I have an important Fall availability update. Fall is such a popular time for family photos. I understand why- the beautiful, warm colours and Summer is just so short and fun! However, with limited spots, I will only book sessions in September this year, so if you were considering booking, now is the time to reach out!

Summer is a time for family, fun and relaxation, but it is also a gorgeous time to book your family photos. Schedules are looser, and it is easier to incorporate fun activities into your session. Getting on my calendar is as easy as filling out my contact page on my website!

As a mother, I must constantly remind myself that my kids feed off my energy. When I'm calm, they're calm and vice versa. And this is so true for your photo session too. My biggest tip to parents is to relax and have fun. High energy is not a bad thing, and it's when kids' personalities shine. So I invite you to have fun, and I'll take care of the rest!
