Hi! With a few new followers of our little photography team, we thought we'd re-introduce ourselves.
We are Ben + Brit. We also both answer to Bman, but that's a story to be shared with you over a coffee or a beer.
We are a family of three, or five if you count the OG fur babies. We started with Maven the cat in 2016, then Sender joined the team in 2019, and then baby Killian came earthside in December 2025. He has kind of made our world go round since and is both our joy and our overlord!
Outside of getting the hang of this whole parenting thing, we love spending our time travelling, trail running, nerding out on wine, and spending time outside. Ben likes to huck himself down mountains on skis, while Brit enjoys the blues and the aprĆØs. We make sourdough bread together every few days. We often get caught up in the busyness of life like everyone else but try to find some peace here and there at the beach or in the forest or by the fire in our island home. We bicker like an old married couple but are really still quite smitten with each other.
And we really love taking photographs. Of our people, of yours, of the beautiful world we live in, of the moments and relationships that bring us and bind us together. We see through the lens of lighting, colour, and composition but also curiosity, wonder, and connection. Weddings and elopements and family sessions are where we work but they are also our playground. We especially love shooting on film and find ourselves reaching for our film cameras more and more.
We believe that life is too beautiful and fleeting to not be documented, and that it's important that you get not only amazing photographs, but a highly relational and attentive experience working with us. We truly want you to have the most amazing day and are here to help make it happen, as well as capture it.
