When was the last time you showed your product being used or in a lifestyle scenario? Be honest lol

Yes its important to get those ecommerce shots, and texture shots, and fun creative shots BUT its also SO IMPORTANT to show your consumers where and when they would be using your product (even if its obvious).

It allows for people to picture it in their home. "Oh ya! I get heart burn when I eat pizza too! I should get some for the next pizza night".

This is even more important for more unqiue products that people might not be as familiar with. It not only allows them to see it in their own day to day life but it answers questions before they even think to ask them.

"When would I need this?"
"Where would I keep it?"
"Can I take it on vanation with me?"

etc, etc, you get what I'm saying lol So dont miss out on this super easy opportunity to make the purchasing decision even easier for your consumer. Add those lifestyle shots to your content calendar!

Product photography doesnt have to be complicated to be worth the investment!

Hear me out, I truly believe that beautiful, purpose driven product photography can be created at almost ANY budget. You dont always need to have a massivve budget for props, models, multiple locations, life long licensing, and more. If you have a budget that you are comfortable with is it so important to share that with your creative team.

Maybe this quarter you needed to invest more into your operations and a little less into content, thats ok! Letting your creative team know what you are comfortable spending allows us to develop a plan, keeping that financial restriction in mind and deliver you amazing content that fits.

These shots, didnt require and lights, models, or large props. Literally some sticks, a moody/minimalist vibe and voila. You got yourself a pretty, nature aesthetic photo to share on your feed along with the latest updated for your business.

Let's talk about building an environment in your product photography.

Could we have just put this beer on the plain wood table? Yes of course and it would still have been a great picture

BUT

Adding food in the foreground and background creates interest and depth in the scene. It also helps to tell the story of the brand. This brand wanted to focus on making the most of summer and promote their delivery service, so we sparked the BBQ and got grilling! Now we are showing people exactly the type of experience they can have while enjoying this product all in one single photo. That's pretty powerful considering we just added some food.
