This year has been a big eye opener for me, not only as a photographer, but as an equestrian who’s been involved in the industry for 10+ years.
Whether it’s stepping into the competition ring, achieving a personal best, or reaching a goal you’ve been working toward in lessons, there are thousands upon thousands of hours of hard work behind it.
It is truly a lifestyle like no other, with a unique support system of coaches, friends, families, and surrounding barns.
The show ring is only a small part of the story. There’s so much beauty in everything it takes to get there. Early mornings, setbacks, smiles and tears, and the countless hours spent working toward that one goal- an accomplishment on its own.
Looking forward to our last Silver show of the season, a show to reflect on how far we’ve all come as riders, coaches, business owners, and everyone in between who make it possible🩷
