There is something just so special about the black and white image; timeless, sharp, with high contrast to really bring your eye into the subject matter. As much as I love my warm tones (reddish-browns and muted/olive greens if you haven’t already noticed)- I’m always drawn to black and white in a finished gallery.

The key to a near-perfect black and white image- good composition, limited clutter (think trees, foreground), avoiding a high aperture in some cases to create that soft background (f2.8-3.5 is 👌🏻 for portraits).
