I have the privilege and pleasure of photographing the 2016 Wheelchair Challenge for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, this coming Sunday, September 18. The event begins at 10 am and will be held at Monarch Park Stadium in Toronto. This will be a great event for a great cause!

Time for reflection. As we pass through this life, we are blessed with many experiences (and once in a while, a special person). Those experiences and people can be realized and seen from many different perspectives by the same individual. Case in point. The Art Battle in Brampton was a prime example for this photographer. There were so many diverse experiences in this relatively contained space, although nothing about this event was symbolic of 'containment'; more so creative release.

I will be releasing several photographic series from material I shot at the event. They are varied and contrasting, and they are my experience. Thank you to all those who have shown your support.

Art Battle Brampton! What can I say about this event, except for WOW! You had to be there. It was a pleasure to see everyone from Night And Day Studios and Beaux Arts Brampton. Also, I was formally introduced to SilverElvis, a gentleman that I have seen on the streets of Toronto, since I was a youngster. To finally meet the man behind the legend, was one of the high points of the evening. Thanks to both galleries, and 52nd Street Tap & Grill for their respective accommodation.

While at the studio, I was fortunate to sample some excellent table fare. One of the standouts was a poached pear dish, created by up and coming culinary star Hetha Simmons of Dragon Baked Cakes. She also prepared a chickpea and avocado sandwich which included baby spinach and sliced Roma tomatoes. Fantastic 5-star vegan!

I want to thank Kevin Hunt of Night And Day Studios, in Brampton. Kevin invited me to the gallery for an evening of music and painting. Although it has been more than a time since I completed a canvas, it was great to be present among so many gifted artists and fellow creatives. Thanks to all who assisted in making these images. I was fortunate enough to be asked to shoot the new menu for a Japanese Restaurant in Pickering. I had a great time, and want to thank the staff for their accommodation. It was truly a pleasure.
