Still soaking in the joy and gratitude from yesterda🌟

A heartfelt thank you to The Honourable ( MP Brampton North ) for taking the time to stop by and for your kind words of encouragement and support for Utkarsh and Viraj. It truly meant a lot to them—and to us as parents.

This was their very first time participating in the Brampton Artist Market, and the response was nothing short of amazing. Their art pieces found new homes, and they had such a meaningful experience connecting with the community.

We were bursting with pride to also witness Utkarsh’s original song -ā€˜Chasing’, written and produced by him—being played at the market. šŸŽ¶ What a moment!

Thank you to the City of Brampton, the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO), and all the partners involved for creating such an incredible platform for young, local talent. ā¤ļø

What if I told you that the most breathtaking photography isn’t found in grand landscapes or exotic destinations, but in the overlooked corners of your own city?

Most of us walk through urban spaces on autopilot, missing the intricate details that make them extraordinary. But when you train your eye to truly see, everything changes. Suddenly, a crumbling brick wall tells a story of time and resilience. A reflection in a rain-soaked street becomes a moment frozen in art. A simple contrast, light against shadow, old against new, reveals the heartbeat of the city itself.

That’s what my latest collection, Urban Horizons: A Skyline Symphony, is all about, capturing the unexpected magic hidden in everyday cityscapes. It’s about turning the mundane into mesmerizing. Seeing textures, contrasts, and fleeting moments in a whole new way.

Ever feel like your creativity is running on empty? Like your surroundings are too dull, too predictable, too uninspiring to spark fresh ideas?

Maybe you walk the same streets every day, but nothing catches your eye. And maybe, just maybe, you think you lack the keen eye, sharp focus, or strong memory needed to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.

I’ve been there. But here’s the truth: creativity isn’t about waiting for inspiration to strike, it’s about learning to see differently.

That’s exactly what inspired my latest collection, Urban Horizons: A Skyline Symphony—a visual journey through the hidden poetry of the city. It’s about breaking free from creative blocks, training your eyes to notice the details others miss, and finding inspiration where you least expect it.

Every city holds stories, woven into its streets, reflected in its windows, whispered through its changing light. But how often do we truly see them?

Photography has taught me that beauty isn’t always in the obvious landmarks; sometimes, it’s in the way shadows stretch across a quiet alley or how neon lights flicker in the rain. It’s not about capturing perfection, it’s about discovering meaning in the moments most people overlook.

This shift in perspective is what inspired my latest collection, Urban Horizons: A Skyline Symphony, a celebration of the untold beauty found in everyday cityscapes. It’s about looking beyond the ordinary and seeing the poetry in movement, architecture, and light.

Photography has always been a way to process emotions, celebrate fleeting moments, and even heal from life’s challenges for me. Every image I capture holds a piece of how I felt in that instant—joy, nostalgia, hope, or even quiet contemplation.

That deep emotional connection is what inspired my latest collection, Urban Horizons: A Skyline Symphony, a visual ode to the soul of the city. This collection captures the rhythm, movement, and hidden poetry within urban landscapes, the way light dances on glass towers, the hush of the streets before dawn, the quiet beauty found in unexpected corners.

One of the most magical aspects of photography is how it shifts your perspective. Suddenly, a crumbling wall isn’t just decay, it’s a story of resilience. A shadow isn’t just darkness, it’s a dance of light and movement.

I used to walk the same streets every day, barely noticing my surroundings. But photography changed that. It taught me to pause, to really see. The way sunlight filters through the leaves, the soft glow of a streetlamp on wet pavement, the fleeting reflections in a puddle after the rain, these details were always there. I had just never paid attention.

Often, we’re so busy moving from one place to another that we forget to truly look. But the beauty of a city, of any place, isn’t just in its landmarks—it’s in the overlooked moments, the quiet poetry of the everyday.

So, I’d love to know:

What’s the ONE small detail in your daily surroundings that always catches your eye?

For the longest time, my city felt predictable, brick buildings, busy streets, the same sky stretching above. It was home, but I never really saw it. Life moved on autopilot, and so did I.

Then, almost by accident, I picked up a camera. A hand-me-down point-and-shoot, worn but still functional. I wasn’t expecting much. But one day, with no particular plan, I stepped outside with it. Just to explore.

I started capturing the little things, the cracks in a wall, the way sunlight danced on a puddle, a single flower pushing through the concrete. And in that moment, something shifted.

Suddenly, my city wasn’t just a backdrop to routine; it was alive with hidden stories, waiting to be seen. Photography gave me a new lens, literally and figuratively, to find beauty in the everyday. To appreciate the overlooked. To rediscover wonder in the familiar.

And that’s the transformation I want to share with you.

So, I’d love to know:

What’s the ONE way you’ve learned to see beauty in the ordinary?

There was a time when life felt like a never-ending cycle of uncertainty. Moving from one city to another, constantly adapting to new places, new faces, and new struggles, it was exhausting. Survival in the big city often felt like a battle, and loneliness had a way of creeping in.

During those moments, photography became my refuge. Whenever I had a tough day, I would pick up my camera, step outside, and wander, sometimes with no destination in mind. Capturing the world through my lens was more than just a distraction; it was a way to create beauty out of chaos, to find stillness in movement.

At times, the camera was my only companion. But more than anything, photography gave me a sense of purpose. It reminded me that I was capable, that I could turn my observations and experiences into art, and that even in the loneliest moments, I had something meaningful to hold onto.

Which is why I believe art is more than just expression, it’s healing. It’s how we rise above self-doubt, how we transform our deepest emotions into something powerful, and how we reconnect with ourselves.

So, I’d love to know:

What is the ONE creative outlet that helps you find peace and clarity, no matter what life throws at you?

Photography and painting!

One of the things that has always fascinated me about photography is its ability to create art as breathtaking as a painting, but in a fraction of the time. And that’s exactly what I set out to showcase at my art college’s three-day annual festival!

The festival was a vibrant celebration of creativity, with students displaying an ocean of artworks, watercolor and oil paintings, intricate colored pencil sketches, handcrafted ceramics, and stunning textile weavings. As a Graphic Design student, I wanted to prove that photography, too, is a powerful form of artistic expression.

Along with a few of my classmates, I showcased our best images. My contribution? A series of architectural photographs capturing the timeless beauty of an old fort in India, alongside some striking wildlife shots.

What happened next was a moment I’ll never forget. Esteemed photographers and photojournalists, invited as special guests, took a keen interest in my work. They called me over, praised my ability to bring a fresh perspective to the old fort, and encouraged me to refine my skills, urging me to dive deeper into the details that could elevate my work to a professional level.

That conversation shifted something in me. It was the moment I truly considered photography not just as a passion, but as a path worth pursuing.

Have you ever had a moment when someone’s words made you see your talent in a whole new light?
