As my calendar continues to fill and my business grows, my family session pricing will be increasing September 1, 2026.

If you've already reached out and received my Fall Family Session Price Guide, don't worry! Your quoted pricing will be honoured as long as your session is officially booked before September 1st.

Any family sessions booked on or after September 1st will be subject to my new pricing.

If you've been thinking about updating your family photos this fall, now is the perfect time to secure your session while current pricing is still available.

"I'm just looking for a photographer who doesn't cost an arm and a leg."

It's a phrase I hear all the time, and it got me thinking... what does a photography session actually look like behind the scenes?

Most people think the session fee is for the hour or so we're together, but in reality, that session often takes me around 12 hours from the first email to delivering your final gallery. That includes answering questions, planning, photographing, culling thousands of images, editing, retouching, delivering your gallery, and all of the little administrative tasks in between.

When you look at everything that goes into a single session, it quickly becomes clear that the session fee is about so much more than the time we spend together. Behind every gallery is hours of work long before I ever pick up my camera and long after we've said goodbye.

I think it's easy to see a single number without realizing everything that goes into it. The hour we spend together is only one small part of the story.

Photography has never just been about showing up with a camera. It's years of learning, investing, problem solving, creating, and pouring my heart into the memories I'm trusted to preserve.

Every gallery I deliver represents so much more than the hour we spent together. You're not just paying for photos. You're investing in the time, experience, care, and heart that go into creating them so your memories are preserved for generations.

To every client who has trusted me with your weddings, your growing families, your milestones, and your stories, thank you. Your support allows this little business of mine to continue doing what I love every single day, and I never take that for granted.

I absolutely adored having these two over for their engagement session. We spent the evening chasing the sunshine through our yard, soaking in the valley views, and capturing such beautiful memories.

The evening was filled with so much love, laughter, and the prettiest soft light. I already can’t wait to capture the next chapter when these two say “I do” this fall.

From my phone… I definitely should have grabbed my big camera, but I was a little more focused on being ready to run for shelter.

This was our yard last night. 🌪️

Between the rain, flooding, power outages, and emergency alerts, what a summer it has been. Mother Nature has definitely been keeping us on our toes.

One year. One tiny cake. One of the sweetest milestones to celebrate.

There is something so special about first birthday sessions. The curiosity, the tiny frosting-covered hands, the messy smiles, and those big eyes taking it all in. It’s never just about the cake, it’s about freezing a little piece of childhood before it changes again.

These are the moments parents will look back on years from now and remember exactly how little they once were.
