Strawberry, the porcupine, has been hanging around the house the past couple of weeks, munching on the wild strawberry leaves. Thankfully, my pup is too scared to approach, but Strawberry seems very comfortable in front of the camera when given space. 🍓

The bright colours at the beginning of the night were amazing. But when green made its solo appearance, the green glow that enveloped everything was so magical and serene. Watching the movement of the green ribbons was the highlight of my night! Plus green is my favourite colour.

Even after the principal show ended, the aurora did not leave the stage last night. The greens were so beautiful, and the reds came back for an encore near the end.

I always try to incorporate off-camera flash in my portrait photography if I have the time with the subjects Having control over the quality of light and how it interacts with a subject is just so fun. I try my best to use lighting that compliments each subject and their story.
