Karolyne: A Celebration ✨️ 😌

To bare witness to such an important part of a person's life, a birthday... it is emotional, and this day was no exception!

It is another year survived, a year with bellies full of laughter, a year of tears flowed by, a year of lessons learned and a full year of self discovery. 💛

We forget sometimes we are cosmic star dust and we are worthy of being celebrated at all times but especially on the day we were brought earthside. We need to not harbor resentment or guilt for wanting other epic souls, especially our friends, to show up for us as we would for them. Spread love like glitter, all the heck over the place. 💥

The expressions and symbols of womanhood throughout this amazing self-celebration birthday picnic, helped foster such supportive environment for Karolyne to strive in her 36th year. Her friends adorned her with all the love through dance and a rose ceremony and they wrote themselves some love notes as well. Every detail of this day was uniquely her. The beautiful alter they built showed the glory of the woman form and of the yoni 💫 Karolyne is living every day as an example of being free in your body and teaching women to do the same at her studio EmbodiPole Sensual Arts

We are made to feel, as women, a lot of the time silenced and underestimated. The display of strength and friendship I got to witness here is louder and more powerful than anything I've seen in a long time, so thank you 🥹

Are you counting yourself out before you even try? 🛑✨

​I want to talk about something really close to my heart today. I know so many of you look at the images on this page, the gorgeous, radiant, fierce women.. 🥰😘😍 and your brain immediately starts finding reasons to block you from feeling that same magic.

​You look at a photo and think:
“OMG, I could never do that. I don’t look like X, Y, or Z.” or “I could never book a session, I don’t have the money for something like that.”

​These are the biggest blocks you can put on yourself. Because it's not just about a bo***ir session. Counting yourself out before you even give yourself a chance is a block that leaks into everyday life. It stops you from taking up space, chasing what you want, and believing you are worthy of beautiful experiences.
​Hear me when I say this: You CAN do it. And you CAN afford it.

​It all comes down to one beautiful word: Patience.
