Soft light can smooth the appearance of fine lines, soften shadows, and give the skin a beautiful glow. More directional light creates stronger contrast and a bolder, more defined look.

Neither is better than the other. It all depends on how you want your brand photos to feel and what helps you feel most confident in front of the camera.
