The first time I shot a proposal was the first time I had a paid shoot. It was supposed to be a couples session and with no warning after wrapping up the session, turning my camera off and walking back to our cars I hear behind me “OMG!” I turn around thinking they saw something cute but instead he’s down on one knee with a ring. Did I still get the shot? Yes, and I think that set me up for being on high alert for the rest of my life 🤣 pro tip: your partner can be surprised but please don’t surprise the photographer lol
