It was the absolute most perfect day outside for H&M's engagement session at Glenmore Park. The perfect balance between cloud coverage, sunshine, warmth and a gentle breeze that made their engagement session so laid back and enjoyable. From the beach portion by the reservoir to some green grass at the picnic area, the colours were bright and lively and so was the park.

I don't care if it's overshot, I will never get tired of Stephen Avenue. Strategically picking a quiet time, while opting for early morning light makes for endless angles and dreamy vibes. I'm absolutely obsessed with how H&D's engagement photos turned out here. The two were so adorable and I'm so happy with the results.

When planning engagement sessions with couples, I always encourage them to choose locations that are not just aesthetic but also meaningful to them. It takes away from the pressure of being in front of the camera and brings some fun and nostalgia to the imagery. T&D met at SAIT and decided to do their engagement photos there. It was so fun to get to hang out with them and see all the spots that held little glimmers of their relationship as it developed throughout their studies.

When I first moved to Calgary and decided to pursue photography, I was so in awe to have the mountains nearby that I really thought I was out to become an outdoor and adventure photographer. While I'm still a big fan of getting out there and shooting some stunning scenery, lately I have been obsessed with exploring inner city spaces and finding gorgeous structures to compliment my couples.

I had such a great time photographing J&R's engagement session. The two are absolutely stunning together and I'm obsessed with their photos downtown.
