Did you know the parents usually do more work during a first birthday photoshoot than the photographer? 😄

By the time babies turn one, they’ve discovered the amazing skill of running away from the camera. They have places to explore, props to inspect, and absolutely no interest in sitting still because someone said, “Smile!” 😂

So while I’m busy finding the perfect light and capturing those precious moments, Mom and Dad are doing cardio, making silly noises, dancing, playing peekaboo, and becoming professional little-human catchers.

And honestly? That’s exactly what makes these sessions so special.

The giggles are real. The cuddles are genuine. The smiles are earned. And those are the memories worth keeping. 🤍

Not long ago, big sister was the tiny baby in front of my camera. Now she’s proudly sitting beside her brand-new best friend, already stepping into her new role with the sweetest smile.
