This fu***ng girl.

ɦǟ ɦǟ is debuting her first Shambhala Music Festival set tomorrow and I could not be more stoked for her. And I’m not alone. She’s got a whole army stoked for her too!

HAHA has become one of those friends I genuinely treasure. Every year at Wild Roses Festival we somehow end up in a golf cart in some random field together at 3 a.m. talking about the day we just experienced.

She’s always lugging something back up to the leadership house that late too. Usually a deck or cords. Who knows. 😂

She came and DJ’d a private set just for my Illuminate Workshop girls this last Spring and we all felt so special. That’s where I got the star photo of her here. 2am again. Seems that’s our time to always hang out together.

The last photo in here is the first time I ever got to hear HAHA’s DJ’ing and I instantly fell in love with her vibe and infectious energy.

Her sets are legit so good too.

This girl just gives out so much love. Always.

If any of my Shambs friends are reading this go to her set tomorrow Thursday at the living room at 2:30pm. Thats where she’s playing!

Working with Bella every year feels a little bit like returning to the same dream in a different form.

She was the first woman to ever officially book a Nicturna session back in 2018.

Before that, there were girls who inspired the idea. Friends. Creative nights. Experiments in the dark. But Bella was the first to say yes to this world before it fully existed.

And somehow, every year since, we’ve made something together again.

Bella has this strange duality to her.
Soft laughter. Bright energy. Warmth.
But underneath it, something quieter. Something untouchable.

That part always shows up in the photos.

A freezing windy Canadian night overlooking the city.
Both of us basically saying
“okay let’s do this FAST.”

And somehow… those are always the nights that leave behind the most magic.

N I Č T U R Ŋ A

A new home for everything I make
that feels like it belongs in the dark.

For anyone who is new here
Nicturna began in 2018.
It was my mother Odette’s idea.

She told me ✨
you need a place to share these night adventures
you keep doing with the girls.

So I made a little corner of the internet
for the work that didn’t fit beside weddings
but absolutely belonged to the night.

Here we are seven years later.
She has crossed now
almost two years
which still feels strange to say.
But even in the hospital
she kept talking about this brand.
Telling nurses
you should follow my daughter
Nicturna.

She was so proud of this work
more proud than anything else I have ever made.

And as you can imagine
I needed time
to find my center again
to find my light again.

This fall something shifted.
I felt called to bring Nicturna
back to the front of my focus
back to the place she always knew it could be.

Only now
it is no longer just a home for my girls at night.
It is the home for all of my night work.

Call it an artist’s portfolio.
If it feels like it belongs in the dark
it will live here.

Yes, there will be a little wedding work here now
but only the ones that fit the vibe.
The dark ones.
The moody ones.
The ones that feel like ritual.
The ones lit by stars and candles
not daylight.

And I am calling in more.
More brands.
More creative places.
More beautiful resorts and Airbnbs and venues
that have stunning content
but nothing that shows how they feel
after the sun drops.

Night is its own story
and I want to tell it.

So here we are.
