In my 10 years freelancing as a photographer, I often felt the pressure to upgrade my gear, fueled by the assumption that a big bag of equipment equals skill. For all the passionate one-person teams like me, here's my first "Lesson Learned" on why camera gears aren't as crucial as you think:

Date Your Camera: Knowing your camera inside out is key. Customize settings, maximize its capacity, and use features that align with your business style. It'll be a game-changer.

Shoot in Raw: Whether you have a professional camera or just your phone, shooting in RAW offers more editing flexibility. It's especially handy in uncontrolled environments.

Flash Isn't All That: Contrary to common belief, you don't need elaborate lighting equipment. Brands can thrive using what's around—your phone, and your surroundings. Complexity is the enemy of ex*****on. Just start.

Focus on Brand Identity: Tailor your visuals to your brand identity. Some brands need professional photos, others may require more graphic layouts. Knowing your brand is more crucial than having the latest gear.
