Baby brother is finally here 🥹💙

I left this newborn session and honestly shed a few tears in my car. Photographing these precious moments and getting to know your families truly lights up my soul. And doing this for return clients? It really doesn’t get any better than that. I am so incredibly grateful for their trust in me.

Life has been busier and heavier this year than I expected, and as a result my photography has had to take a bit of a back seat. But my god, did this session stop me in my tracks and remind me to keep fighting for what matters most to me.

I’m still here, just quieter, but I can promise you one thing…this has just been a season and there will be much more love & sunshine on your feed in the coming months 💕☀️

My love, you are such a bright light in this world, especially my world. You are so kind, so intelligent, so silly, so inquisitive, so imaginative, so funny, so loving and SO full of life. And your smile, it lights up every room you walk into. I am the luckiest mama in the world to get to love you, play with you, learn from you, teach you, and simply witness you and your becoming.

I hope you always feel as safe and loved as you do now, so you can continue shining your beautiful light everywhere you go.

Loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done ❤️

Life isn’t always easy. Some days feel heavier than others, and I catch myself wondering why things have to be so hard…

But then I look at you.

Your beautiful smile. Your laugh. Your kindness, curiosity, imagination, and unending JOY. You light up my life. You’re my greatest blessing. You’re the reason I wake up every morning, literally and figuratively. And no matter what life throws at me, loving you has always been easy.

And being your mama? The MOST favourite part of my story, hands down, always and forever ❤️

It’s slow and quiet, yet never perfectly calm. There’s almost always a toddler rolling around in laughter, a baby needing cuddles, and of course mid-session snacks. But it’s also full of those beautiful in-between moments you don’t think to remember. And somehow those are the ones that mean the most ✨

Golden sun, bare feet, kids running wild, but yet somehow life feels slower.

While we wait for those long summer nights, I’m hosting spring sessions at the end of May! Spring minis are open now (and they always go quicker than you think because once spring hits, it HITS 🌸)
