Digital vs. film is so fun to have for the first time!!

I love seeing how the film brings a different life and texture out of the image. I am still learning my film camera and how to shoot in different setting but 😍 I’m loving it so far.

My first time shooting film at a wedding 🥲

This sounds funny but I got a bit bored of digital photos this year and wanted to challenge myself to try a new medium of photography. I have always loved film photos, they truly do capture a different essence in the colours and personality of people. It causes you to slow down (alllll the way down because my film camera is fully manual) and be more intentional with the photos I’m taking.

More to come - I have a few test rolls from a few different camera that I’m testing out 👀

Matt & Alana’s wedding was one for the books✨

There was something special in the air on July 26th, 2025. The energy was amazing, everyone was joyful, the presence of God was with us, everyone was having fun. It was overcast all day and then at the perfect moment the clouds broke and we got them their golden hour moment.

It’s days like these that remind me why I love photography, why I love people, why I love love.

These years have been full of love, growth, coffee dates, good meals, travelling the world, having fun, being each others wedding date, hard times, building a home together, doing ministry together, and the best times. I am so grateful to be married to my best friend and love of my life. You are the best person I know, best cat dad, and the bestest friend I’ve ever had.
