That’s what I love most about maternity sessions - they are about documenting the beginning of a family.

This evening was smoky and hazy, but instead of working against us, the sky gave us this gorgeous, unexpected golden glow. ✨

Mama here embraced her beautiful growing belly and even got into the water at the end of our session, allowing me capture a few moments that were incredibly meaningful.

Documenting your kiddos become older siblings fills my heart with so much joy. The constant kisses. The little cuddles. Always wanting to hold the babies close. Cuteness overload - the tiny hands and toes, the little coos, and the baby smell all met with the excitement of a little boy who just became a big brother. If I had to choose one session type to capture for the rest of my life, it would definitely be newborn. I do, I do love taking photographs. My favourite thing to capture is JOY, and I love going through photos after a session and picking all my favourites that honestly make my cheeks hurt from all the smiling! I feel so blessed to be able to do this professionally 🫶🏻.

We run, jump, swing, laugh, play, and yes… go up in the air. That’s exactly how I want your family session to be.
Not stiff or overly posed, but like an afternoon spent together—playing with your kids while I quietly document the moments that matter most.

The way your little boy looks at you when you toss him into the air. The excitement on your daughter’s face as she picks flowers just for Mama. The unspoken bond between siblings as they giggle beneath a blanket.

A few years ago, I photographed this family’s maternity and newborn journey as they welcomed their first baby. This time, I get to watch that same little boy run through the park, giggle into the wind, and proudly prepare for his biggest role yet—becoming a big brother. His contagious smile made this session feel so full of joy.

These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. Being invited back to capture another chapter in a family’s story is one of the greatest honours.
