I had the huge honour of photographing these two love birds on their wedding day over the weekend and I have to say, it was one of the most incredible days! 🥹 Weddings aren’t something I typically photograph but when Andrea asked me to document their special day I couldn’t say no! With a grateful heart I am so excited for Mr. And Mrs. Black, and I can not WAIT to share the memories we captured. Stay tuned! 🤍 For now, here’s a little throw back to their engagement session!

Hey. 🫡

I figured it was time for an update (even though this photo has been hiding on my hard drive for months but hasn’t yet seen the light of day). What better time than now? 😂

Life feels surreal lately. Between being blessed with the BEST clients ever, some really cool projects coming up this summer, planning a wedding with lover boy (and the support of so many family/friends), and being able to maintain a “job” that I feel so passionately about FULL TIME?! I truly couldn’t be happier in this little life of mine.

Don’t get me wrong, there has been some hard days, weeks, and months that got me here, and some days I just can’t seem to catch a break, but I’m sitting here today feeling proud of little ol’ me for pushing through and embracing change, hardships, and learning. Some things I’ve been working on as of late:

❌ Less:
Imposter syndrome
Saying “yes” to things that don’t bring me joy anymore
Screen time and aimless scrolling
Negative self talk
Playing small and keeping the bar low

✅ More:
Gratitude for this body
“I love you” moments between friends and loved ones
Experimenting with style/clothing that feels fun and exciting
Boundaries with work and play
Girls nights
New hobbies and making time for FUN

As we move into another abundant month of bridal bo***ir, I’ve sure been having a blast getting creative with all the fun props and accessories that my wonderful bridal clients have been bringing to their shoots! I mean besides the gorgeous new bling 💍, there’s so many pretty details like the veil, robes, bouquets, meaningful personal touches… I may be bias but I truly have the coolest clients! 🥰
