Whoa, it's been a while.
Like for many, the ongoing pandemic brought a lot of changes and other considerations into my life. Due to this, sadly, photography had to take a bit of a back seat. As a middle school teacher, I was unable to anticipate if and when I would be put into mandatory isolation, and quite frankly, the stress of the school year has been leaving me exhausted at the end of each day.
With that said, there is a lot of light beginning to emerge at the end of the tunnel, and I am more than ready to get back behind the lens.
Since it has been so long, let me re-introduce myself:
🔹 My name is Keara and I grew-up in a small hamlet east of Calgary.
🔹 I have a B.Sc and a B.Ed, both from UofC.
🔹 I am horse crazy and have been for as long as I can remember; I have had at least one horse of my own for the last 21 years, and currently have a Thoroughbred named Seamus.
🔹 I got my start in photography back in 2011, shooting at Spruce Meadows in the International Ring for the major tournaments. It was quite way to start, but it was amazing and I learned a lot.
🔹 I started shooting weddings in 2016 and feel honoured that so many couples have allowed me to be part of their wedding day.
This post is getting long, but I promise I'm almost done. So, here's what I'm thinking...
For July and August only, I would like to offer:
🔸 Family portraits
🔸 Couples + engagement sessions
🔸 Small Weddings and Elopements
🔸 Equine portrait sessions
Crazy last minute? Maybe. But, isn't crazy the theme of the world right now? I'm not funny, I know ;)
(Note: At this time, with the uncertainty of the world, I am not opening my books for 2022.)
