There are so many subtle moments that we are privileged to witness between a birthing mama and those who surround her; some reach out to physically lend their support, perhaps in hopes of giving strength, wishing to help carry some of the heaviest load ❤️ These tender moments of affection always make my heart skip a beat, reminding me of the genuine, true love that can be shared between two souls. 😭

This moment touches me so deeply, immediately tears fill my eyes. The delivery room; a place carefully balanced between skill and empathy, the smallest upset could destroy this perfect harmony. As I scan over the faces captured, I see the assurance in these professionals eyes, the confidence in their skills, with a gleaming sliver of humanity still shining through but this moment is shared. This is the moment where a beautiful sister, surging with tenacity and unfaltering power is delivering every single ounce of energy she carries to the sweet little soul we're welcoming to this world. She was relentless, she was powerful, she was the face of strength and in that moment I will not forget how much pride I shared in simply experiencing this unforgettable moment in her presence.
