Those big boy hands that used to be so little 💙 First outdoor session since COVID! One of many scheduled this August. I know, it’s crazy!! I’ve been so busy with video projects and now births but I have SO missed being outside without the mask to capture the evening magic of summer. I’m flying out to Vancouver Island tomorrow for Christmas and I was able to squeeze in one last shoot before then!! Today looked like Narnia and was absolute magic ✨ I wish every winter shoot could be this mild and dreamy. .

I arrived one minute AFTER this little cutie was born as he was being laid on mom’s chest yesterday morning. It all happened so fast...another reminder that you can’t control all the variables of birth. I’m just so thankful this little babe arrived before I leave for the Island next week. Welcome to the world Ellis 💙 You are ADORABLE! What a way to finish off my busiest year for births yet. This one makes 11!

Yesterday I turned 35 and while age is not something I normally enjoy talking about, I felt incredibly lucky to have these 4 women by my side (along with my amazing hubby who pulled it all off), taking time to honor the road we’ve walked, celebrating the victories and successes, and toasting to an even better year ahead. I woke up missing the one person who isn’t in my life right now, my Momma, but hit the pillow feeling thankful for the ones that choose to be here going forward. I know they can’t promise that this year won’t have heartache and challenge, but I feel more equipped than ever to tackle it head on. I may be nearing the end of my client sessions for 2019 but that means I’m gearing up for mentoring season!! In between workshops and personal projects, I also offer one-on-one mentoring. If you’ve been wanting to learn how to edit or shoot in manual or build your portfolio (to name just a few), let me help you and we can chat over laptops and coffee ☕️ This is my favorite thing to do because I love being able to pour into your journey and help you see the potential in your purpose. Next weekend, and I will be doing our second round of the iPhone Workshop and we can’t wait to make some new friends and share some really amazing tips. Since July, I have taught over 50 people how to capture and piece together videos on their iPhone and I will keep sharing my knowledge as long as people keep signing up. So far, we have 14 people attending but we have room for a couple more so please message me if you’d like in on this one!! It’s happening Sunday, November 17th from 12:30-6:30PM and it’s $299 plus GST. Last one before Christmas!!
