Here’s your first look at the Cover and January page of the 2026 Peaks & Paws Calendar, Beyond the Curve

This year’s set has it all: mountains, glowing lakes, rivers, a very sassy bear, and a train moment dramatic enough to win an award. A few shots even made it onto Global News, which is still wild to me.

And look… it’s the holidays.
People need gifts.
People love calendars.
People love scenery.

These are perfect for parents, coworkers, teachers, neighbours, your cabin, your office, your kitchen… basically anyone with a wall.

$25 each or 2 for $45
Comment or DM me to reserve however many your holiday heart desires.

Nestled only an hour and a half from Calgary lies a land so barren, you would think you were on another planet. The wind whistles, and the hoodoos murmur stories of years gone past. Welcome to Dinosaur Provincial Park, the founding site of countless fossils and home to the famous Royal Tyrrell Museum, this land is etched with the remains of the majestic creatures that once roamed here, their presence still felt in the silence and the stones.🦖

Gap Lake usually isn’t still. The highway hums, paddle boarders drifting across the water. But on this late summer evening, the lake was serene and still.

I’d never been here before, but I wanted two things; scenery and trains. Feet in the water, basking in the heat, as the sun slipped behind the smoke hazed mountains, I snapped photos as a lone dragonfly skimmed the surface of the water, curiously approaching me.

Then I heard a faint chug chug chug, and around the bend, a train appeared, its engine calling out with a long choo choo, to say hello. Timing is everything.🚂

Just beyond the path in Banff lies Bankhead, a once thriving coal town, whose electricity was the envy of all of Alberta. Coal dusted trails wind past railcars and machinery, rusting where they were left. Buildings crumble, bricks scattered. At the heart of it all stands the lamphouse, now dark and derelict and yet a flicker of light lingers within. Some say it is for the miners who never left, their presence still felt in the town, unseen but never gone.

Planes, cars, and people, something completely new for me. I usually chase mountains and wildlife, and this weekend at the Canon Creators x Socality event, I photographed people for the first time. Stepping into the unfamiliar reminded me how much you grow when you try something new.
