You want to know one of my favorite things about maternity sessions?

Would you believe it’s not the excitement of what’s to come or the hope represented in new life? It’s not even the connection between mom and dad as they walk this special season together or the excitement of an older sibling meeting baby. Although all of those things are absolutely amazing.

It’s knowing that I get to meet the little one awfully soon. Today I met the baby that made this bump so sweet and it was so special.

Ps. It’s a girl and she’s awesome.

Today was a special day.

A day where dreams became reality.

Jordan and started the 4 years ago with a dream of sharing their blessings with the community they all home. In so many ways, through partnerships with local organizations, they’ve been doing that already. Big ways. Life changing ways.

But today.

Today was a pinch me moment for anyone who’s been around the dream.

Today they announced a $700 000 donation to build an Early Learning Center at the brand new in Beaumont set to open in 2027. This partnership is so near and dear to Lauren and Jordan’s heart and will be such a boost to the community.

Today we celebrated. They shared their dream and their vision and their passion for the project alongside some amazing library staff. It’s going to be good. So. So. Good.

As a reader, a mom, a lover of outside, and a big fan of what Jordan and Lauren are doing, this was such a treat to witness and be a part of.

The details of your day matter. You selected them with care. While you might not think these photos are a big deal, they can end up being a really special part of your wedding gallery.

I always provide a list of what types of things to include but here’s a few helpful tips you might not think of that elevate your detail shots:

Ask your florist to provide a few extra loose flowers and greenery specifically for detail photos.
* Remove stickers and packaging from shoes, perfume bottles, and accessories beforehand.
* Clean your rings a day or two before the wedding for maximum sparkle.
* Place everything together in one box or in one spot so I can begin styling immediately upon arrival. Typically, I do the these photos while you’re getting ready but can also sneak them in at other points if we have the items together.
* If there are any items with special meaning, let me know so they can be highlighted in your gallery.

She has her princess dress, the look of pride, her family at her back and so much hope for the future…this graduate is going places and I’m ever so thrilled to have a front seat.

For some it’s the end of an era, of a season of life, and the beginning of the next part in their journey.
