It's been a while, fam. Here I am. If you're new here — welcome + are you scared yet?
Remember during the simpler Instagram days of "I'm going to tell you 5 facts about my business?" We're bringing that back today.
• This will be my 8th season of running my own business, which feels truly insane.
• I lost my mom in 2020 during wedding season and it has completely changed the way that I move through the world. She was always my driving force, and she continues to be now, even more so.
• I sell my presets, and I'm about to come out with my first light guide that I'm really excited about. It's coming so soon!
• I'm going to be so honest, sometimes I find myself quietly grappling with the wedding industry as a whole...not to bite the hand that feeds me, but I think it's important to take a step back and reconnect with who I am in this new season of both weddings and life.
• The most important thing to me in this business is connecting with couples who care about each other, and their people. Couples who spend their days planning their wedding, and also their marriage. People who want to have fun, but don't take life so seriously.
I'm getting ready for this 2026 busy season with an open heart and mind. I'm trying not to focus on getting the "perfect shot" but instead, just capturing the stories that I'm so lucky to be able to see unfold in front of me. Less performance and more feeling grounded and in the moment.
