Turning 40 in July has me turning upppp. New digs. Records flipping. Leopard print. Out with the old in with the new. Good people & Great Champagne.

& I have been planning a desert retreat together chatting almost daily, so when I showed her my new vintage dining set, we knew we had to collab on a virtual session and photograph the s**t outta it.

I’ve never done a virtual session before and I am blown away by how styled me, took over my phone though her virtual session app, directed, photographed, and edited these photos all from her house in BC while I was at mine in Alberta 🙀 What a talent.

You need to book a virtual session with her today it was the exact pick me up I needed after an extra long few weeks leaving my white picket fence life for an art deco abode. Never forget, it is never too late to start over and create the life you are meant for.

Wanderlust ✨
Mexico was the much needed rest before the ruckus. I get the keys to my new place today, as I kiss my family home goodbye with love. I’m grateful my kids will remain there part time with their Dad & Rosie, and I am ready to start to build something new for us close by. It will be a slow process, as I start to pick out all the things to turn this little rental into a home for the next year. Stay tuned for all the decorating fun ✨💋

A week ago I was stepping foot into the Jungle of Tulum to meet a couple I had only spoken to over a FaceTime call and Instagram DMs. What I flew away with was memories of what it felt like to witness two people marry their best friend. This art was inspired by deep love, friendship, banter, laughter, and authenticity. During their wedding day, I would direct them into a pose only to turn around to snap the photo and they would be deep in talk, as I marveled at their connection. I was welcomed into their wedding party and held in their circle like we had been lifelong friends. I’m so incredibly grateful for these two women, for getting to meet them, capture their love, and for the friendship that was birthed during that week. Until me meet again 🤍✨

11 years ago as snow kissed the ground I walked into a hospital a young woman and walked out a few days later a mother. A title I’m not sure you can ever properly prepare for, and yet felt as natural as anything else I have fallen in love with in my life. Navigating a diagnosis I knew nothing about, terrified as all hell, and watching her surpass all my faint ideas of what life could mean as a visually impaired child she’s now Eleven. Smarter than all of us with an IQ in the top 1% of the population, a competitive gymnast, the quickest wit, the ability to make me belly laugh, and keep me sane as the oldest of three. I am grateful every single day I get to be her Mother. For the love and grace and laughter, and keeping my spirits young and my house messy ☺️
