It’s not often we can see a comet with the naked eye, so to have deep clear country skies speckled with stars, and filamentous noctilucent clouds on the horizon to go with it was a treat.

This is Comet C/2020 F3, called NEOWISE after the space telescope that found it. It survived its closest pass to the sun and will hopefully be around for another few nights of viewing.
