This one's a throwback to one of the most memorable nights on my adventure to the states. I took a spur of the moment trip from Utah and drove down to Horseshoe Bend in Arizona. Little did I know I was going to meet a new buddy who has and continues to be great support for me and my photography. It was nights like this that I live for. This ones for you Eric!! Thanks for all the support, feedback, tips and tricks. Keep crushing it man! It is places like these that make me really appreciate where we live. Everytime I go on an adventure to somewhere new, there is always something along the way that makes me stop and want to take in my surroundings, usually alongside taking photos. It is truly amazing how many hidden gems there are in this world and the only way to find them is to get out and explore.

The dolomites are one spectacular place. Highly recommend northern Italy to anyone who is craving jagged rocky peaks, high altitude fresh air and a feeling of being on top of the world.

First trip out to kananaskis country. Had some interesting weather considering it was suppose to be clear skies. Lucky enough was able to get a few decent shots. Here is one of them.

This is my first attempt at portrait photography. Portraiture requires a whole new realm of thinking than what I am used to. It requires different composition techniques, a higher level of involvement with the subject, and an entire new post processing workflow. I give props out the to all the successfull portrait photographers because it sure is a challanging style of photography.

It has been a while since I have last posted. Sometimes life gets in the way of where we want to go and sometime the stars align just right. I have officially been given the opportunity to practice as an EIT (Engineer-in-training) with a company driven to better the future of energy. Over the last month I have had little time to work on my photos but I hope to get back on track with many more to come. So throw a like and follow and keep updated on what is to come.

This shot was taken in Hampi, India. It was one of my most genuine shots that I got in India, and in my eyes, shows the life of the locals. Their boat was hand made of wicker, bowl shaped and something I'd never seen before. I was lucky enough to meet this amazing family once their boat docked on the rocks. We talked about their life in Hampi, and I was blessed to get a family portrait (photo coming soon).

This shot was taken when I was back in India on our Tiger safari. We saw a few different types of animals including the illusive Bengal Tiger(shot coming soon). Really happy we stayed in Ranthambore until we got our spot on the safari.
It was a complete gong show to get tickets. We had extremely early mornings, day after day to stand in line. Having grown Indian men fist fighting to get to the front of the line. and being turned away over and over again. Thank you to for waiting in line and finally getting our spots!!

People always say "do what you love and you will never work a day in your life". I don't necessarily agree with this. I believe that the larger majority of people get bored with doing what they love when it is day in and day out. I'd rather do what I love as hobby, and never lose that love over time. And do what interests me for work. Yes you make "work everyday of your life" but you'll get to learn everyday of your life and may also find new things that you love along the way. With this approach even when you have a bad day at work you can always do your "hobbiest love" to make everything better.
Photography is just that for me. It is a hobby I love to do. It gets me outside to some of the most beautiful places across the world. I get to continuously learn everyday both in my photography and the work I do. Photography helps me escape from those bad days and give me an appreciation for the finer things in life. So I am giving a big shout out to all the hobbiest photographers out there that just enjoy pictures for the creative and technical sides of photography. Keep do what you love and sharing with the world!!!
