April 1st wedding with sun, rain and snow… yup, sounds about right for the mountains!

These two jokesters got married on April 1st. How smart are they? What an easy date to remember! Haha!

They rented a house, in the mountains, on the water and invited their closet friends and family. I felt pretty lucky to be a part of it and had the privalidge to meet some pretty awesome folks.

Deanna, Jae - you two have become two of my favourite people. ♥️

On Saturday I had the privilege of capturing Arilyn and Scot's wedding day in Vulcan Alberta. These two have known each other for 11 months and they just knew they were each other's best friend.

They had a small, intimate day with the ceremony at a private residence just outside of Vulcan and then returned home to their large back yard for the reception and party. It was perfect for their day. Even their dog Ruby got involved as the ring barer. They also had the most perfect veggie garden - I'm going to need to ask for tips! HAHA

I also felt very lucky to work with Jack and Gerri from Weddings by Jack and Gerri - thank you for the referral.

With the current conversation, I contemplated whether I should post or not. I then had a conversation with a friend which got me thinking. I have an opportunity to show love and I wanted to do that. So, in the name of love and family, I wanted to share this.

I hadn't picked up my camera in a few weeks due to covid and the lock down meant we all stayed home. Once it was lifted, although we were still cautious and kept socially distant, I finally got behind my camera and was able to capture some pretty special moments with this family. It was all about the Ice Cream and bubbles - oh and clean shoes of course 🥰😂
