I have a little secret that might surprise you: the hardest group to photograph isn't wild toddlers, and it's not moody teenagers. It’s actually... YOU. 🫣
I see how hard you work to get everyone dressed, out the door, and to our session on time. But by the time you step out of the car, you're carrying so much anxiety, praying your kids will 'behave' and make things perfect.
Here is the beautiful truth, though: because you are the one holding the stress, you are also the one with the power to completely change the session.
Kids are emotional mirrors. They don't react to my camera; they react to your energy. The second you decide to let go of 'perfect,' take a deep breath, and just laugh with them—even when they are being chaotic—they will instantly mirror your ease.
At your next session, let me worry about the behavior. Your only job is to show up, relax, and love on your kids. You've got this! 🤍
Parents, does this take a little weight off your shoulders? Let me know below!
