This is what coordinating instead of matching looks like 👀 This summer session is everything☀️🤍

Instead of matching outfits, pick a colour palette you love and choose pieces that complement each other. A few things to keep in mind:
* soft + neutral tones photograph best
* choose solid colours or light patterns over busy prints
* if you want a pop of personality save it for your shoes or accessories!
* most importantly wear something you can move in, have fun in, and feel like yourself in!!

You probably already have pieces in your closet that work perfectly together! ✨

With some new faces around here, it’s the perfect time for a little reintroduction! 👋

Hiiiii I’m Kim! A wedding and lifestyle photographer capturing vibrant pictures of your vibrant stories from Central Alberta, Calgary, the Rocky Mountains, and wherever life takes you! 💫

When I’m not behind the camera, give me a thrift store, a good playlist, followed by an outdoor adventure and I am a happy girl!🌈

My goal as your photographer is to create a session thats relaxed, fun, and feels more like hanging out than a photoshoot. I’ll guide you with prompts that feel natural, help you loosen up, and make sure you feel like yourself. No stiff posing, just real moments… and lots of laughs!

After years of navigating a pretty significant injury, I gained a whole new perspective on how quickly life can change and it’s why I show up to every session with an even deeper appreciation for the moments we’re freezing together. 🤍

Pregnancy glow for real!✨😍✨ It was so lovely to reunite with these wonderful humans and capture their latest milestone. We spent the afternoon in their cozy home catching up since their wedding, while I snapped away. 📸 Growing together with my clients is a gift and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to document so many special moments 🥹🤍

I am going to continue to be in denial that we received 20cm of snow in one day and relive Accalia + Sean’s stunning Fall Wedding. The details, the colours, I can’t get enough. 🍂✨

Heritage Ranch will forever be a special place for these two. It's not just where they chose to become husband and wife, but also where their love story unfolded years ago – the very spot where they shared their first date!! 🥹🥂

The day was beautiful, intimate, and full of so many thoughtful touches. It really was the best way to end my wedding season. 🤍

Honestly I think one of the most challenging parts of my job is trying to narrow down which photos I am sending in a sneak peek, and then which photos to share. Seems silly I know, but to choose 10 images or to create a collage and arrange them in a way I like, and then think of a caption that shows my clients just how much they mean to me… and now we have reels to think about! 🤯😅

Heres the first glimpse of Elly + Mikes special day last month. ✨ These two had the best kind of chemistry, I could have photographed them for days! You really can’t help but smile when you see them together. Congratulations you two! What a beautiful day full of lots of love, lots of laughter and a little disco 🪩 🖤 🤍
