Meet the Singh Family!

"We are Gurwinder and Reena. We moved to Silverado about 2 years ago and love it! Silverado has a whole new feel to it - you can disconnect yourself easily with the amazing trails and access to Spruce meadows!

We are blessed to live with parents and our two amazing boys! We have used these past few weeks working from home, connecting with family and friends, trying out new card tricks, games, recipes and whole lot. Just as the weather clears out, hoping these unprecedented times pass by.

Big thanks to all providing essential services during these times and praying for everyone’s safety out there."

"Hello everyone,
We are the Patil family and this is our second year in Silverado and enjoying it.
The COVID-19 period has been a roller coaster ride for us with few ups and downs. It’s great that we get to spend more time as a family. Enjoying lots of cooking, baking and online fun-time with friends. On the downside miss the joy of going out with friends and lots of other spring activities. Our special thanks to Kelly Gibbons who made our son’s birthday more special by capturing all of us in one frame!

Meet the Sullivan Family.

"We have spent almost 8 years in the great city of Calgary, after relocating from Vancouver Island. I don't think that we could find a better match for us personally, from the winters that are cold, but not comically so, the thunderstorms opposed to the cold depressing drizzle all the way to the mountain views that we can see from our house. We love to road trip whenever we can, and love to take in the picturesque sights on the way. Last spring, we just did the three day trek down the California Coast to Disneyland.

Even though we love to explore and love to see what the rest of our great province and country have to offer, it has obviously been given strict bed rest, given the global pandemic that faces our family and our community. We try to find whatever new experiences we can in our own yard, such as the exploration of the wild world of gardening, discovering new card games and watching the entire catalogue provided in Disney+."

Meet the D’Aoust Family.

"Hi! We're Ben, Barb, Noah and Maya. We moved to Calgary from Quebec almost 6 years ago and haven't looked back since. I'm a teacher and my job brought us here. Ben is a golf pro and we are definitely a golfing family! We love everything about Calgary, especially Silverado. We called this place home from the start and really love all that we can do as a family... the Stampede, Spruce Meadows and of course, the golf courses! The Rockies were a real draw as well and we try to spend as much time in the mountains as possible. We are so very grateful to all the front line workers at this time. Stay home, stay safe and be well."
