There was definitely a little pressure photographing another photographer 😅 but this branding session was such a special one for me.

Diego and I were business partners when I first started my career in wedding photography 15 years ago. We built so much together in those early days, learning, growing, and photographing incredible love stories side by side. A couple years later, our paths shifted, I followed my heart into babies and family photography, while Diego continued growing the wedding business.

Today, he and his wife are among the best wedding photographers in Brazil, and getting the chance to create these branding photos for them while they were in Canada photographing my sister’s wedding felt incredibly full circle ❤️

We laughed a lot during the session, shared memories from the beginning of our careers, and honestly had so much fun creating together again. And the results… WOW. I’m completely obsessed with these images!

Of course, we also had the chance to update our family photos, but I’ll dedicate a new post to that!

I started my journey in 2010 as a wedding photographer, capturing love stories for about 5 amazing years. Over that time, I got to witness countless couples begin their forever, and every story left a mark on me.

So when this incredible client asked me to do their engagement photos, I couldn’t have been more honoured. 💛 It felt like coming back to my roots, yet exploring something fresh. A chance to create something new, while still doing what I love most.
