As a Calgary wedding and engagement photographer, I have to say that Calgary has some of the most beautiful forest locations! Which was so perfect for my couple for their engagement session, it matched their vibe completely and it was just so calm and grounding overall. Itā€™s a nice reminder that you donā€™t always have to leave the city to have these views!

It was like a mini getaway that was needed for all of usšŸ˜‚ The air felt extra crisp and the dreamy evergreen trees just set the tone.

Now that their engagement session is complete, that means now the countdown begins for their wedding! šŸ¤

POV you skip a huge wedding and elope in Costa Rica instead with your closest people šŸ¤

The slow morning in the villa getting ready, the first look before the ceremony to calm the nerves, then heading to the beach to make it official.

They said I do with the most beautiful backdrop and most calming sounds of the waves crashing in, it truly couldnā€™t have been better! It was so ā€œthemā€, and thatā€™s what was the most important.

The sunset was to die for, we had to soak up every second of it.

Okkkkk, Costa Rica is officially my favourite place to not only soak in the dreamiest of views, but to photograph beautiful wedding details! This bouquet was just stunning and so vibrant, and letā€™s be real, everything looks better poolside. I kept it simple, because each piece did the work for itself.
