“The Art of Being There” is a different way to experience the mountains.

Not just to see them… but to actually feel them.

We spend a day in nature, moving through a few quiet places, slowing things down and reconnecting with what’s around you.

Through simple practices like breathing, mindful exercises and a bit of creative work, something starts to shift.

You stop observing the landscape and begin to feel part of it.

That’s when my creative side takes over.
With years of observing nature and light, I capture that moment in a way that feels natural and high quality.

At the end, you leave with a printed piece of yourself within the landscape. Not just a photo, but something that holds the feeling of that day.

And there’s more.

The first sunrise hike of the season. I struggled a bit on the way to the summit, but once I passed the tree line, something shifted and I kept going with a smile on my face. My effort was generously rewarded that morning.

One of the newest projects I’m working on is the Mindful Lounge, located inside the recently opened Eau Claire Athletic Club.

It’s a space designed for multi sensory experiences that help you slow down, reset and reconnect.

The idea started in 2024 during our first immersive exhibition at Calgary Central Library. I wanted people to not only see the landscapes I capture but truly feel them.

Together with composer Jarod Judge, we combined photography, sound built on Solfeggio frequencies and scent to create a deeper experience.

Over the past two years, we’ve refined this concept through multiple exhibitions.

The Mindful Lounge is our response to a fast paced world.

A place to pause, breathe and reconnect with nature.

This is just the beginning. We’re looking to collaborate with businesses and open the space for group sessions and public days.

If this resonates with you, stay tuned and sign up for the next session.

For our first hike of the season, Michelle and I chose Rawson Lake. I had never seen it in winter and it felt like the perfect easy trail to start with.

We picked a sunny day to soak in a bit of vitamin D and spent the day surrounded by a true winter wonderland.

We came back to Calgary feeling recharged and inspired for the week ahead.

Most people visit the mountains but never truly experience them.

Spending more time in nature with my camera changed something for me.

At first, it felt like I was just learning photography.
But over time, it became something else.

I started slowing down.
Noticing more.
Feeling more connected to where I was.

It brought a sense of balance I didn’t even realize I needed.

And at some point, I had a simple thought.

If creating in nature can have this kind of impact on me…
why not share it?

Especially with people who feel the desire to create something meaningful
and experience the landscape in a deeper way.

That’s how the Creative Photography Experience came to life.

I take people to carefully chosen locations in the Canadian Rockies,
where we slow down, explore and create something together.

Through simple photography exercises,
you begin to see differently and connect more deeply with your surroundings.

You can try different types of cameras,
from playful and simple to professional gear.
No experience needed.

This is not about perfect photos.
It’s about creating something personal
and enjoying your time in the mountains.

At the end, you choose your favourite image
and I turn it into a printed piece you can keep.

If this speaks to you, I’m offering 50% off for the first 3 people.

Send me a message and I’ll share the details.

Some of you know me from my photography. Some from events, exhibitions or recent projects. And some of you just joined along the way.

I moved to Canada from Poland in 2013. A few years later, my photography journey began, inspired by the beauty of the Canadian Rockies.

At the beginning, it was simply something I loved doing.
It started as a passion, and when I decided to make it my work, I didn’t want to lose that.

Since then, I’ve explored many different types of photography to understand what truly feels right for me. Over time, it became clear that it was never just about taking photos.

Photography led me to places I didn’t expect. One of them was Vancouver Island, where something shifted for me.

That’s where I discovered the artist within myself.

The moments I experienced there sparked the idea of creating immersive exhibitions. I wanted to share those experiences in a deeper, multi-sensory way, not just through images.

Around the same time, I began building another side of my work — mindful experiences in nature.
I wanted to bring people into nature and help them slow down, reconnect and begin to feel the landscape rather than simply see it.

Over the years, I’ve also created products like calendars, prints and card collections — ways for people to bring a piece of that feeling into their everyday lives, while supporting my creative journey.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands and businesses as well, creating lifestyle content that feels natural and story-driven.

And one important part of my journey has been event photography.

I started by volunteering at local festivals in Calgary, just for the experience. Over time, that grew into working on some of the largest energy shows in the city.

I genuinely enjoy being around people, bringing positive energy and capturing real moments. I think that’s what makes people enjoy working with me as much as I enjoy working with them.

I’ll continue sharing this journey and the projects I’m working on along the way.
Thank you for being here with me.
