When I drove past this beautiful field the other day, I noticed there was almost nothing left.

The wildflowers are gone. The tall grass has disappeared. All that remains is dirt and construction machinery.

If my assumption is correct, this place will soon be replaced by another building.

It makes me incredibly sad.

The Canadian Rockies are breathtaking not only because of the mountains, but because of the untouched meadows, wildlife, and quiet places that make this landscape so special. I know change is inevitable, but it’s heartbreaking to watch another beautiful piece of nature disappear.

I’m grateful I was able to photograph this place before it changed.
