I am Michele Sortland, a newborn and family photographer in Calgary and surrounding area. Watch Me Grow Photography doesn't just provide family’s with their moments frozen in time but also an experience! One that mimics going out for coffee with an old friend, or game night giggles with the family. I offer in-studio and on location sessions. With my studio work, I do love keeping things simple and

the focus is of baby, you and your family. Classic images that will never go out of style or dated. The foundation of my work is a neutral palette while incorporating pops of colour once in a while. With my on-location work, I love capturing a balance of you and the environment; creating an image that carries a story to remember for years to come. What is happening at Watch Me Grow?

Gosh! Only a month into 2026 and spring & summer dates are already starting to book.

🌿 Outdoor sessions officially open mid-May and run through mid-October, with intentionally limited availability. This allows flexibility to adjust session dates around unpredictable weather — without compromising your experience.

🤍 Newborn sessions are penciled in for 7–20 days after due date, with only so many sessions booked per month. This ensures every family receives a relaxed, unhurried, and fully personalized experience.

🎈 Turning one, two, or three? Birthday celebrations kicked off 2026 with a bang! These sessions are designed to capture everything — with a beautiful, simple setup that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on your growing little one.

🎄 Looking ahead to Christmas 2026…
This year introduces intentional consistency in the studio. While small styling details will evolve, the overall aesthetic will remain the same — making it seamless for families to return year after year and build a beautifully cohesive holiday collection.
