Thank you for all the love the last few days in regards to this seshy! Sarah and I both have received so many comments and messages about my previous posted photo-
I really stepped outside my comfort zone after acquiring some new gear and was nervous about how it was going to go. I had a look in mind, and it was up to Sarah to pick her own colours-I’m am so stoked she went with yellow!
I will be offering more maternity sessions in my home in the coming months as I get my bearing with the new equipment.
This is only going to help me nail studio lighting over time and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Woowie!
I’m back from Bc, I finished my taxes, and I’m ready to rock (but not too hard because it’s time to plan my garden/greenhouse) ;)
Books are open weekdays my Loves!
As promised, I will be working Monday-Friday until the fall (at least)

Books are closed until April! I will be in BC for 10 days taking care of Family.

Do school photos from Lifetouch have you feeling down? lol
Well fear not friends! I have really enjoyed taking portraits of little ones the last few months, and intend to keep it up for 2026.

Why SWP and not Lifetouch?

Home studio-a relaxed environment with pets and plants and good vibes. And YOU are there to help guide and prompt your child-that alone is a huge advantage. Plus you can see the photos as they are being taken so you know you're getting what you want.

Time-we can spend up to 20 minutes to take photos; including time to let your kiddo warm up to me, my space, and feel comfortable enough to get a genuine smile and let their personality shine through.

Cost/Quality-first, I retouch photos, like actually retouch. If your child has dry skin or little boogies, or scratches ect, Im going to fix them. Second, the cost of prints is similar to the other guys, but the quality is unmatched! I get my prints through the best print company in western Canada, and you can really notice when you see them IRL.

Experience-I'm super fun, your kid(s) will eventually love me if they don't already, and every time you come for photos, your kids will actually be stoked to get their photo taken (ask me about how I got smothered in hugs today!)

I could have easily done “top 10 portrait”, “top 10 wedding”, “top 10 kids”, “top 10 baby” ect ect.

Only having to run like a mad woman through 1 airport w/Hunter, putting 1 client on my back to cross a stream, shooting at 1 of my favourite restaurants, 1 road trip back home w/my whole family, watching my kids play a couple of dozen ball games, going on (only 😡) 1 horse back ride, watching 2 of my old personal training clients get married, & 1 tattoo 😉

Every. Single. Detail. Of this wedding was perfection; Kathryn has such a keen eye for design and beauty, she made everything look spectacular-forest whimsy and some mushrooms and pumpkins for colour and magic….
