Awesome local collaboration with Transit Timewarp ! The history of our region is quite extensive!

Main St. facing east from Wellington St. in Galt, Cambridge, Ontario, in 1950 and the same view in 2022.

The Grand River Railway (GRR) electric locomotive was hauling freight across Main St. in 1950, and this line was eventually de-electrified in 1961.

1950 photo was taken by Lloyd Baxter and is now in the collection of Art Taylor.

2022 photo was taken by Mike Freeman of Aerial Imagination, who was recruited by Trevor the Time-Traveler to make this comparison happen!
